Public appeal as car stolen after Highland break-in is found abandoned and burned in Alness

A CAR stolen from a household in Inverness was later found abandoned and burnt out in Alness.

Police are looking for information following the incident which followed an overnight break-in.

It happened in the Lochardil area of Inverness overnight last night.

Police said in an appeal today: "The householder's car was subsequently stolen and later found abandoned and burnt out in Alness."

Anyone with any information is asked to phone Police Scotland on 101 or alternatively phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
