The Edinburgh-born singer/songwriter will play a warm up set ahead of fellow Scottish musician Amy’s performance on Friday, August 12.

In 2021 Callum had a sold-out Scottish tour and has been supporting Amy on her 2021-22 UK tour, including a sold-out show at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow which has been rescheduled to this March.

Callum commented: “Amy has been such a brilliant champion for me and my music.

"I’m eternally grateful to be asked to support her, at any event, in any venue, but to be asked to do it at the Northern Meeting Park, with such an incredible Scottish heritage is such a massive honour for me.

"I can’t wait.”

Callum’s debut album People Like Us reached number one in The Official Scottish Album Chart and number seven in The Official UK Album Sales Charts back in 2020.

His new material is a collection of songs "clawed from the raw stuff of existence, nostalgic patriotism and bleeding love".
