Have you lost something? Highland butcher says expensive piece of jewellery found in shop

A HIGHLAND butchers has found an expensive item of jewellery in its shop, and wants its owner to phone and claim it.

Duncan Fraser and Sons Butcher on Queensgate has not said what the item was, but said it was lost by its owner on Saturday.

In a Facebook post, it said: "An expensive piece of jewellery was found in our shop on Saturday October 17 in the afternoon.

"Contact the shop, on 01463 233066, if you think this may belong to you."

The shop in the Highland capital is familiar to many visiting the city with its distinctive butcher figure outside.
