Road crash on A890 near Strathcarron Hotel injures one with Police, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance crews at the scene





One person was injured this morning in a single vehicle crash in Wester Ross.

Emergency services attended the scene on the A890 near the Strathcarron Hotel and Railway terrace junction.

The road remains partially closed after police and two fire crews attended the scene.

Paramedics treated one casualty.

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to a one vehicle RTC at around 6.12 am, with two appliances, one from Lochcarron and the other from Kyle attending.

“One person was treated for injuries by an ambulance crew.

“We left the scene at 6.57 am.”

An AA Scotland spokesman said: “The road is partially blocked because of a crash on the A890 both ways around Railway Terrace, with traffic coping well.”
