A crash investigation has forced Police Scotland to close a minor road linking the A9 and A835 on the Black Isle between Inverness and Dingwall





Police have closed a minor road on the Black Isle as they investigate a crash.

Emergency services are at the scene on the narrow B9169 road linking the A9 to the A835 Tore to Conon Bridge route.

The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for details.

A Police spokesman said: “The B9169 is closed between the A835 south west of Knocknafanaig and the A9 at Duncanston following a crash which was reported to police around 3pm on Friday, 27 June, 2025.

“Emergency services are in attendance and drivers are advised to avoid the area.”
