Resolis Primary School Nursery deemed ‘warm, calm and caring’ in glowing inspection report
A “WARM, calm and caring” Black Isle nursery has received a glowing inspection report, after meeting an area for improvement previously outlined by the Care Inspectorate.
Resolis Primary School Nursery on the Black Isle provides a care service for up to 24 children aged 3 year to not yet attending school.
The nursery, which is attached the the primary school, had an unannounced inspection on September 2 and 3 of this year.
For their leadership, staff team and setting, the nursery received a ‘Very Good’ grading; with their care, play and learning getting a ‘Good’ grading.
The report said: “Children experienced nurturing and emotionally responsive care which supported them to feel safe, respected and valued.
“Children were empowered to follow their own ideas, curiosity and lead their learning. Robust quality-assurance processes supported the service to deliver high-quality care and support tailored to meet children’s and families’ needs.”
It continued: “Staff consistently engaged in warm, calm and caring interactions. Positive relationships were evident across the setting.”
In October 2023, the Care Inspectorate outlined the development of the nursery’s quality assurance systems as an area for improvement.
Since then, effective and consistent monitoring processes had been implemented. The report went on to state that positive outcomes for children were promoted through an effective process of self-evaluation. As a result, the previous area for improvement has now been met.
