A BLACK Isle cafe which closed to allow staff to self-isolate following a Covid alert has said it is delighted to be reopening today.

Fortrose Cafe announced it was closing last week following a staff member's positive test.

It was one of several business premises affected across the Highlands.

It closed to allow other kitchen staff to self-isolate in line for guidance.

Customers were supportive of the stance.

The cafe, on the High Street, is due to reopen today. It said: "We have missed you all."
