Easter Ross hay bale blaze triggers response from Highland firefighters

FIREFIGHTERS are attending a farm in the Easter Ross area following reports of a hay bales fire.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has despatched appliances to the Aldie Farm area south of Tain.

The SFRS says around 40 large hay bales have been reported to have caught fire in the area.

Three appliances are attending the scene at the moment.
