A MUIR of Ord business has been commended as “brilliant” and one of the best Scottish artisan bakeries.

Bad Girl Bakery, which also has a cafe in Inverness’ Victorian Market, has been awarded the no.1 spot on a new list from The Times, ranking the top five artisan bakeries in Scotland.

Describing the Highland business, The Times said: “This is the star attraction at the food and drink hall in the new Victorian Market in Inverness. Jeni Iannetta is the bad girl plying us with irresistible carbs and sugars, while not busy running baking classes and crafting tempting treats for the recipe of the week in Alba. If Inverness is too far for a trip, check out Iannetta’s YouTube channel for tutorials.”

The top 5 list on The Times was taken from the book, Scotland the Best by Peter Irvine.
