Attempted housebreaking in Alness, Ross-shire, sparks appeal by Police Scotland officers in the Highlands

AN attempted house-breaking in Alness has sparked a police plea for information.

Officers are investigating after the glass window of a conservatory door was smashed near to Teaninich Distillery Cottages in Alness last week.

No entry was gained in the incident, which occurred sometime between 3pm on Tuesday, October 20 and 3pm on Wednesday, October 21.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting "incident NE/4188/20".
