A Black Isle arts organisation has staged its first live concert since early March.
Yesterday's event was socially distanced, due to the Covid-19 restrictions, and organised by Cromarty Arts Trust and Old Brewery.
Two Black Isle musicians, Simon Evans on violin and Ian Sharp on piano, performed in front of an audience of 40 at the Stables, in Cromarty.
In a Facebook post a trust spokesman said: "This is what a socially-distanced, bubbled, live concert looks like – our first since early March. And what you can't see from this angle is the appreciative smiles of the 40-strong audience as they lapped up the brilliant performance by Simon Evans and Ian Sharp. We're so happy to be back. There'll be more where this came from."
The classical recital, which was christened Music 4, Tier 1 Concert, featured Beethoven’s Sonata for Piano and Violin No 4 Op 23 in A Minor, Dvorak Sonatina Op 100 in G Major and some shorter pieces by Brahms, Massenet and Rachmaninov.
