Flu vaccination sessions running smoothly as Dingwall Medical Group flags up 'plenty of appointments' still available

ELIGIBLE people within the Dingwall Medical Group area who are keen to take up the offer of a flu vaccination are being invited to make appointments for sessions under way this week.

The medical group has set up a clinic at Dingwall Academy, which is currently empty during the October school holidays. And it says it has plenty of appointments still available this week for patients over 65 years old by March 31, 2021 and those who are eligible for the first phase of flu vaccination.

It said on its Facebook page: "We operate a Covid-safe flu clinic with social distancing and almost no waiting time.

"Phone 01349 863034 to make an appointment. We still have some on the day appointments available."

Those who have already had the vaccination have given an upbeat assessment of the process at Dingwall Academy this week.

One wrote: "All done and home within ten minutes. Didn't feel a thing. No after effects! First time!"

Another said: "My husband and I were there yesterday. Very impressed. Went like clockwork. Well done TeamFLU2020!!

Another patient said: "Well organised. In and out in minutes Thank you."
