POLICE in Easter Ross have posted a public appeal for help tracing a man posted missing.

Calum MacKenzie (41) has been missing from his home in Salvesen Crescent in Alness since Thursday.

Mr is described as white, 6ft in height, of stocky build and bald. He was wearing a black jacket with a blue logo, black trouser jeans, a light blue shirt and black boots when last seen.

He was last seen in Alness about 1.30pm on Thursday.

Sgt Nicola MacDonald, Alness Police Station, said: “Calum has never been missing before. He did not turn up for tea with his parents on Thursday afternoon and they then raised the alarm. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen Calum, or maybe knows where he is, to get in touch.

"His family are very concerned for him. We would also ask Calum to call us or his family to let everyone know he is okay.”

Anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Alness Police Station via 101 quoting incident number 3129.
