Alness charity Fox and Friends hosts spook-tacular Haunted House
SPOOKY celebrations have been getting underway at an Easter Ross charity’s new hub.
Alness-based charity, Fox and Friends, have been busy hosting several Haunted House sessions at their new hub, the Perrins Centre.
To make sure that everyone had the chance to have fun at the event, Fox and Friends held both ‘mild’ and a ‘manic’ sessions — with ‘mild’ being family-friendly with no big frights, whereas ‘manic’ featuring plenty of spooks for older kids and adults.
Donut van, Treats on The Street were also at the event to offer up some sweet treats. As well as this, Claire Carson face painter was also offering spooky and UV face painting.
In August of this year, the charity secured the keys to their new hub at the Perrins Centre, where they hope the space can be used for a range of events and services, such as: kids clubs, home education drop-in days, adult and OAP meet-ups, family support and community events.
Fox and Friends founder, Lisa Davidson, highlighted that Fox and Friends offers free or reduced price tickets for all of their events to anyone who needs them.
“We believe that everyone deserves the same opportunities in life, and no one should miss out when it comes to having fun as a family.” said Lisa. “This event was put on as a fundraiser for the charity, however we still offered non-limited reduced and free spaces to give everyone the opportunity to attend. We encourage people to book to suit their budget at the time of booking.
“Once open, the hub will be built on the same principle, with cost being no barrier for anyone wishing to use any of our services.
“Halloween is not over yet but we are already planning our next big event. We can't wait to bring our Christmas Cottage to the new hub.
“Funding for a new disabled friendly toilet really is the only thing holding us back from opening up as a community hub, but we are working hard behind the scenes to reach our target!”
