A Highland branch of Aldi will be closing its doors at the end of the month so that the building can be refurbished.

The Inshes, Inverness store due to close on Sunday, January 31. It will reopen again on Thursday, June 3.

An Aldi spokeswoman said: “We will close our Inshes Park store on January 31 at 8pm to carry out refurbishment works. In the meantime, customers can visit our Friars Bridge store, which is a nine-minute drive away.

“When we reopen on June 3 the store will be in our new layout, which ensures more space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges. It will be much brighter with simpler layouts and wider aisles.”
