Traffic accident blocks A82 Loch Ness road near Invermoriston - detours set up

EMERGENCY services are attending a crash on the A82 near the Loch Ness village of Invermoriston.

Traffic Scotland posted at 12.25pm today that there had been a one-vehicle road traffic collision in the area and emergency services were there.

At 12.21pm a further online message from Traffic Scotland said that the road, the main route between Inverness and Fort William, was closed in both directions.

Lengthy detours were put in place.

Scottish Fire and Rescue said that a crew from Fort Augustus and another from Drumnadrochit were still in attendance at 1.30pm.

No further details of the incident or if there was anyone injured were available.
