A87 Glen Shiel road closure due to traffic accident

The A87 Shiel Bridge in Wester Ross is closed due to a road traffic accident.

Reported at 11am, the A87 is closed in both directions due to a road traffic accident. Road users have been by Traffic Scotland advised to use an alternative route.

The closure is said to have caused long tailbacks according to eyewitnesses.

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
