A CROSS-STITCH kit made and designed in Dingwall has put one of the county town's best-known venues in the frame.

The representation of Dingwall Town Hall aims to raise funds for Dingwall Museum, which is housed inside.

The museum has been unable to open this summer because of the coronavirus crisis.

It's hoped that the kit can help contribute to the museum's kitty.

Available now in the town's Alchemist Gallery, and online, it can be posted around the world.

As well as hosting thousands of local events down the years, the town hall is also famous for having hosted a poorly attended gig by the Beatles when they were on the brink of fame.

The town hall dates from 1735.
