Acknowledgements

VASS

VASS - (Culbokie/Balintore). Mary, Iain, and Mairi wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all relatives and friends for the overwhelming outpouring of sympathy following the recent loss of their beloved John "Johnny". Johnny was a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, brother and friend to many. The family extends their sincere appreciation to the Fortrose Medical Practice, Dingwall district nurses and especially Evelyn Cameron from Eilean Dubh Home Care, for their compassionate care and professionalism. Special thanks are reserved for Rev. Calum Iain Macleod for his friendship and pastoral support, evident in the beautiful service he delivered. A note of gratitude is extended to Michael and Marion Paul for their touching tributes and fond recollections of John. The family is grateful for the use of Balintore United Free Church and expresses thanks to the Gaelic choir whose performance was a poignant tribute that Johnny would have cherished, it was a fitting conclusion to the service and one which we will never forget. Acknowledgment goes to the Seaboard Memorial Hall for outstanding catering services and to Alasdair Rhind Funeral Director and staff for their assistance and support in handling the arrangements. Lastly, the family sincerely thank all who paid their respects at Balintore Cemetery and all who kindly contributed generously, giving a total of £999.60 to Marie Curie Nurses. The support, both in attendance and through donations, has been a source of comfort during this difficult time.

GARSCADDEN

GARSCADDEN (Dingwall) - George's daughter, Fiona, and his partner, Mary, would like to extend their thanks to all family and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, through cards, flowers and support during their recent difficult time. They would also like to thank Drs Brown and Fletcher at Dingwall Medical Practice, the community nurses in Dingwall, the out of hours nurses in Invergordon, together with the paramedics for attending George. Thanks also to all the staff in Raigmore Hospital, especially the Haematology and the A & E Departments, Wards 5a and 5C and the Macmillan Suite, all of whom took excellent care of George during his times there. Thanks also to the staff at Maggie's Highland for their support and especially to Laura Lee for all her help. Special and sincere thanks to all the staff at the Highland Hospice for their constant care, compassion and support for George during his last weeks. Many thanks to everyone who came to the funeral service at Ross County F.C. and the interment at Strowan Woodland Cemetery. Thanks to the staff at Ross County F.C. for making it possible to hold the funeral service there and to Red Poppy catering. Thanks also to D. Gunn Funeral Directors for their care of George and help with the arrangements and Gaulds Funeral Directors (Perthshire) for their attendance at the interment. Thanks also to Rosie Mclaughlin, celebrant, for her poignant service. Finally, thanks to those who donated to The Highland Hospice and The John Muir Trust; two charities very close to George's heart.
