Staggies stung on the road as Rangers come from behind the grab the points

Craig Curran put Ross County ahead but Rangers came from behind to win 2-1. RANGERS snatched all three points at Ibrox after coming from behind to beat Ross County.

The Staggies had gone ahead in the tenth minute when Craig Curran silenced the home fans with a headed goal from a Jason Naismith cross.

It was a lead which the men from Dingwall took into the half-time team talk and hopes were high of grabbing a result in Glasgow.

But then substitute Alfredo Morelos pegged Gers back when he hit an equaliser just shy of the hour mark.

County's hopes of emerging with a point were shattered when Danny Wilson notched what was to be the winner in 83 minutes with a close-range header.

That win took Rangers ahead of Aberdeen into second slot on goal difference.

It left the Staggies second from bottom, four points ahead of basement battlers Partick Thistle, thumped 5-1 by Kilmarnock.

Killie's victory leaves the Ayrshire side three points ahead of County in eighth position. The two sides meet in Dingwall under the flood lights on Tuesday, weather permitting.
