ROSS County goalkeeper Mark Brown has been handed a fresh one-year contract with defender Steven Saunders also putting pen to paper.

The club has meanwhile confirmed another departure and hailed international call-ups for two of the players who helped with the 2013/14 campaign.

The Dingwall-based club today confirmed that Evangelos Oikonomou has left the Staggies and returned to his native Greece.

Midfielder Filip Kiss and Erik Cikos have meanwhile both been called up for Slovakia to play against Montenegro and Russia at the end of this month.

Manager Derek Adams said: “It is great news that both Mark and Steven have signed up for next season, with Mark also taking on the extra responsibility of full-time goalkeeping coach.

"I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Evangelos Oikonomou for his services to the football club in his two spells here."

He added, "I am delighted that Filip and Erik have been called up to the full national team squad for Slovakia's upcoming games.

"Filip was in the squad earlier in the season for the first time and now Erik has been called up - both of them performed well for us so I'm glad to see that being recognised with their selection.”
