Police appeal after £500 reported stolen from Tain funfair


Police are appealing for information following the funfair incident.
POLICE in Easter Ross have issued an appeal for information after the reported theft of £500 from a funfair ride.


The incident happened on Friday, November 3 at Tain Links.

Approximately £500 in cash, which was stored within a plastic bag, was removed from the controllers box of the Outrage ride at the funfair, police said in a statement.

It is believed the money was removed at some point between 8.45pm and 9.15pm.

Officers are keen to hear from anybody who saw anyone acting suspiciously around the funfair at Tain Links on Friday evening.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Police Scotland in Tain on 101, quoting reference NE16220/17.
