Elaine Neville, a former pupil of Badcaul Primary School and Ullapool High School, graduated from the University of Strathclyde BSc first degree honours in Prosthetics and Orthotics. She is now working at the Douglas Bader Centre for Amputees and Rehabilitation at the Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, London.

John Charles Paterson, youngest son of Dianne and Bruce Paterson, graduated from The Robert Gordon University with a BSc (Hons) in Computing for Internet and Multimedia. He is a former pupil of Hilton Primary and Tain Royal Academy.

Iain Neill graduated from the University of St Andrews with First Class Honours in Geoscience. He is a former pupil of Dingwall Primary and Dingwall Academy and will shortly be studying for a PhD in Caribbean tectonics at Cardiff University.

Ruth Nelson of Rosemarkie, a former pupil of Fortrose Academy, graduated Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with first class honours from Glasgow University. She was awarded the Brunton Memorial Prize and the Robert Fullerton Prize as the most distinguished graduate in medicine of the academic year 2006-2007. She will begin work in the Western Infirmary in Glasgow at the beginning of August.
