WOODSIDE Villa, Nigg Station was the home of my great grandfather, Simon Cameron, his wife Jane Addison and his growing family, which eventually numbered 2 sons and 12 daughters, from 1853 until his death in 1905. Simon Cameron was a Farm Grieve.

WAS there a place named Kintail in Dingwall in the early 1800s? This the most futile search I have ever done over the many years since I started and I go round in circles because Margaret Macrae, my great grandmother, insisted that her place of birth was just "Kintail" in all the census.
