MURDOCH - (Heights of Achterneed). After the passing of his sister, Mary, Donald would like to thank all friends and neighbours who were there for Mary when she needed it, they all helped on a daily and regular basis, Donald will be forever grateful. He would also like to thank everyone for the amazing turnout for Mary's funeral service. £400 was raised for Munlochy Animal Aid which will go towards cat protection, thank you.

STRACHAN - (Conon Bridge). The family of the late George Strachan would like to thank all friends, ministers and elders, neighbours, former colleagues and pupils of Dingwall Academy for the many kind expressions of sympathy, support and prayers following George's passing. Mary, Arlene, Fiona and their families would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for all the kindness shown to them in so many aways following their sad loss of Davie. Heartfelt thanks to all at Strathallan House Care Home, Strathpeffer for the exceptional love and care shown to Davie and ourselves over these past nine months. Grateful thanks to the Rev. Bruce Dempsey for his warm and uplifing service and to organist Andrew Adamson for his sensitive playing, along with piper Duncan Macgilivray. Special Thanks to Drs Fletcher and Scott and all at Dingwall Medical Group. We would like to express our gratitude to Alasdair Rhind for his eulogy and his additional support to our family, also many thanks to his staff for their compassion and professionalism. LYALL - (Invergordon). Marion and the brothers and sisters of the late Jim wish to thank all relatives and friends for the kind expressions of sympathy received by way of cards, telephone calls, flowers, etc. Special thanks to the Invergordon Health Centre nursing staff and district nurses, staff of Ward 7A Raigmore Hospital for their care and attention to Jim over the last few weeks. Sincere thanks to Rev. Brian Macleod for conducting the service, Mr C. Macleod the organist, to Alasdair Rhind and staff for the excellent handling of the Funeral arrangements, Mr D. Macgillivary for his poignant piping and the Kincraig Castle Hotel for providing the tea. VASS - (Culbokie/Balintore). Mary, Iain, and Mairi wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all relatives and friends for the overwhelming outpouring of sympathy following the recent loss of their beloved John "Johnny". Johnny was a cherished husband, father, father-in-law, brother and friend to many. The family extends their sincere appreciation to the Fortrose Medical Practice, Dingwall district nurses and especially Evelyn Cameron from Eilean Dubh Home Care, for their compassionate care and professionalism. Special thanks are reserved for Rev. Calum Iain Macleod for his friendship and pastoral support, evident in the beautiful service he delivered. A note of gratitude is extended to Michael and Marion Paul for their touching tributes and fond recollections of John. The family is grateful for the use of Balintore United Free Church and expresses thanks to the Gaelic choir whose performance was a poignant tribute that Johnny would have cherished, it was a fitting conclusion to the service and one which we will never forget. Acknowledgment goes to the Seaboard Memorial Hall for outstanding catering services and to Alasdair Rhind Funeral Director and staff for their assistance and support in handling the arrangements. Lastly, the family sincerely thank all who paid their respects at Balintore Cemetery and all who kindly contributed generously, giving a total of £999.60 to Marie Curie Nurses. The support, both in attendance and through donations, has been a source of comfort during this difficult time.

WOOD - The family of the late Ida Wood would like to thank all those who sent cards and messages. Special thanks to the staff of Ach-an-Eas and Ward 4B Raigmore Hospital for their care of Ida. Thanks also to David M. Ellen for their professional services and The Flower Shop for the lovely flowers.
