'Shiel exit Camanachd

AT Kirkton, Balmacara, on Saturday, Kinlochshiel Shinty Club's determined fight was all for nothing as they went down by six goals to three in their third round tie in the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup competition.

Shiel, started well and kept within striking distance of their opponents before 'More gained victory. The home side had a late 79th minute goal from Finlay Macrae.

The other scorer in Shiel's 6-3 defeat was Keith Macrae, who scored in the 12th and 32nd minutes.

Newtonmore marksmen were John Mackenzie 3rd and 48th minutes, Glen Mackintosh, 26th and Jamie Robinson, 34th, 47th and 64th minutes.

Lovat went down by six goals to two to Kilmallie.

Inveraray were 4-1 winners over Kyles Athletic; and Kingussie accounted for Bute by three goals to nil,
