ROSS County have snapped up a Celtic midfielder on a season-long loan.
Jamie Lindsay (21) will join the Dingwall outfit from the Scottish champions until the end of next season, the club announced today.
Manager Jim McIntyre said: “Jamie is a young exciting talent who had a fantastic season on loan at Morton last year and I am delighted to get him to our club. I would like to thank Celtic for assisting in getting this deal done.”
Lindsay has joined the team in La Manga in Spain for their pre-season training camp and will be involved in the friendly matches arranged while there.
Today's announcement follows the news on Saturday that Kenny Van Der Weg has agreed to rejoin the club on a one-year contract.
It had previously been announced that he had left the club, unable to agree terms on a new deal.
Speaking about the re-signing of the Dutch defender,Jim McIntyre, said: “Kenny got in touch to say he had had a change of heart and wanted to stay at the club. Our position hadn’t changed, he’s a player that we wanted to stay and we are delighted to welcome him back.”
