THE curtain is due to rise tomorrow on Dingwall's eagerly anticipated pantomime.

Dingwall Players will bring Puss in Boots to the stage under the direction of Peter Whitely, well-known in amateur dramatics circles across the county.

With musical direction by Laura Guthrie, the panto sees Liz McLardy in the starring role as the cat with Kinnon Clark her human sidekick, Harry.

The larger-than-life dame, Nora, will be played by Stewart MacPherson with Hilary Bradshaw taking on the part of Queen Gertrude and Robyn Kydd as her daughter, Princess Lill. The villain of the piece, the evil ogre, is played by Fraser Welsh.

It will be staged on December 7, 8 and 9 at Dingwall Academy at 7.30pm with an additional Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available at the Model Shop in Dingwall High Street or at the Dingwall Players’ website.
