MEMBERS of an Easter Ross action group have banded together to refresh and update a community website aimed at helping locals and visitors find goods, services and attractions.

Volunteers with the Tain Initiative Group offered their time and expertise in revisiting and refreshing the community website, which can be found at www.tain.org.uk.

Ivan Brockway, Maggie Mercer, photographer Mark Janes and local glass studio owner Brodie Nairn were behind the effort.

Mr Nairn, who runs the Glassstorm studio in the town, believes the site can provide a useful point of reference as well as showcasing what Tain offers.

He said its appearance had been greatly enhanced by the efforts of Mr Janes who has contributed some of his eye-catching photography taken in and around the town.
