ROSS-SHIRE MP Charles Kennedy will be a member of the panel which will undergo a grilling when the BBC's "Question Time" programme is broadcast from the Highlands tomorrow (Thursday).
The long-running political discussion show , hosted by David Dimbleby, is to be recorded in Inverness and shown later at 10.35pm.
The panel includes a host of politicians including Ross, Skye and Lochaber MP and former Liberal Democrat leader, Charles Kennedy.
He is joined by the Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, Scottish Labour leader, Johann Lamont, and the former Conservative Secretary of State for Scotland, Lord Forsyth.
Also joining the politicians are journalist Melanie Phillips, who is a columnist for The Daily Mail, and the Scottish actor Alan Cumming who has appeared in several Holywood films.
The hour-long programme, which will be recorded in Eden Court, is expected to feature debate about the expected independence referendum in 2014, following the SNP-led launch of a yes vote campaign.
Mr Cumming, who was brought up in Carnoustie but now lives in America, was one of the speakers at the high-profile event in Edinburgh last month (May).
The pro-union political parties are expected to outline their campaign later this month.
The programme, which comes from a different location in the UK each week, has been running for more than 30 years.
