Police are seeking information on a man last seen in Tain

ROSS-SHIRE police have raised the alarm over a 21-year-old not seen since last Tuesday.

In a statement issued today (Friday), Northern Constabulary appealed to the public for information on Paul MacFarlane.

Mr MacFarlane was last seen in Tain on Tuesday, February 7 at around 5pm.

Police said concern had been raised for his wellbeing.

When last seen, he was wearing a grey fleece top, blue jeans and white trainers.

A Northern Constabulary statement added, "He may still be somewhere in the Ross-shire area."

Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Tain Police Station on 01862 893852 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
