A NORTH Kessock man appeared from custody at Tain Sheriff Court today (Monday) in connection with an alleged incident involving a sword in the village on Saturday.
Duncan Macdonald (49) of Millbank Road denied possession of an offensive weapon at Millbank or alternatively behaving in a manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear and alarm by shouting and swearing and brandishing a sword.
Macdonald was released on bail by Sheriff David Hall.
He will appear in court again on September 13 and a trial diet has been fixed for October 16.
