Man (72) killed in Highland motorcycle accident is named by police

POLICE have released the name of the man killed in a motorbike crash near Loch Ness yesterday.

Anthony Woods (72) died following the single-vehicle collision which happened on the B852 between Dores and Inverfarigaig around 12.40pm on Sunday.

Police, who have appealed for witnesses to come forward, said Mr Woods was from Aldringham in Suffolk.

The collision involved a Francis Barnett motorcycle.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact police on 101.
