THE chief of the highly acclaimed North Coast 500 road trip has welcomed the brand new Inverewe Events leaflet, saying it’s a perfect way for travellers to spend more time exploring the 500-mile route around the spectacular north Highlands of Scotland.
At a meeting of tourism businesses at the National Trust for Scotland’s Inverewe in Wester Ross, the managing director of North Coast 500, Tom Campbell, said the programme of events offered by the famous garden is exactly the right message to be putting out to visitors.
Welcoming the endorsement was Kevin Freidani, Inverewe’s property manager: “We were delighted to host this important business meeting and to have the opportunity to share our new events line up with our travel trade colleagues. We are especially pleased that we are working to improve the offer for visitors along the North Coast 500 route.”
Kevin added: “Our 2017 programme ranges from top quality horticulture, archaeology, art and photographic exhibitions to travel films, concerts, performances and children’s activities – the list is appealing across the spectrum of interests and age ranges. We are sure that these events will help to bring visitors to Inverewe, many calling in along the North Coast 500 and many choosing to stay longer as a result of dropping in on us here at Inverewe!”
